The Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat are playing on the NBA playoffs schedule on Monday night and Game 4 is starting up at 8:30 on TV and the radio from ESPN, ESPN Radio and the WatchESPN website and it has LeBron James and Miami looking to take a 3-1 series lead after going up 2-1 and the matchup comes live from South Florida at the American Airlines Center.
LeBron James has been MVP like in this series and he led the Heat in scoring once again in the last game with an impressive 26 points and seven assists and he now has the chance to give his team a 3-1 series lead in the matchup. Chris Andersen stepped up for Chris Bosh, as he led the way with seven rebounds while Bosh struggled and now the rest of the Big 3 has to get back into the mix. The Pacers have gotten some nice performances from Roy Hibbert and Lance Stephenson, but they need Paul George to play better and he struggled in the last matchup and is leading the team in points this postseason.
Miami and Indiana played last year in the eastern conference finals and before that the Pacers and the Heat played in the second round and now Indy is trying to finally knock out the Heat. The Game 3 win was huge for Miami and now they can take a commanding lead in the series and this comes after the team won over the Bobcats and Nets in the first two rounds. The Pacers nearly had to go the distance twice after winning over the Hawks in seven and they took down the Wizards with more ease and now they have to bounce back in this game for a chance to win the series.
Paul George led the Pacers with 17 points in the last game and Stephenson hd 11 rebounds and five assists, but the team could not get in control late and despite having early leads, it looks like Miami is starting to get their championship form. The Pacers have now lost the past two times in the postseason to the Miami Heat and after whining all season about how they wanted home court advantage, they finally have it and now are in danger of losing it for the time being and they already are in that situation.
The Pacers have led the series for over half of the minutes played and yet they are down 2-1 and now they could be on their last legs with a loss here in Miami. The Heat have played well on the road and they could close things out in Indy if they win Game 4 at home. Miami has been fantastic in the fourth quarter in the games and that is the biggest reason they are leading the series and they have been averaging 26 points and shooting over 50 percent in that final frame.
