Mexico vs. Ecuador Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming World Cup Friendly El Tri Match Free

Mexico and Ecuador are playing live on the World Cup friendly schedule on Saturday and the matchup for El Tri and it comes from AT&T Stadium in Texas as the teams prepare for the Brazil tournament 2014 and it is streaming live online from ESPN and the WatchESPN website and starts up at 3 pm ET.

Mexico is coming into the World Cup after a wild year and wild run of qualifying and they have the United States to thank for helping them get into the tournament, as they won a wild game late against Honduras and that allowed El Tri to get into the playoffs against New Zealand. The team won and now they are in and they are preparing for the World Cup with this match after playing against Israel and they won that game and they are drawn into Group A for the tournament.

The United States has the group of death and Mexico is in a group with Brazil, Croatia and Cameroon and that basically means they are battling two other teams for one spot rather than three for two, as the Brazilian team is very good and is nearly guaranteed to get through to the next stage. Mexico has a good team and they are coming in against Cameroon for their first game and that matchup will be on June 13 at the Estadio das Dunas and then the team plays against the host nation of Brazil and they will play that game at the Estadio Castelão on June 17. The last group match for El Tri comes against Croatia and that will be at Arena Pernambuco.

Mexico has a boost coming in after getting some players back and they also were put into the Copa America tournament, as CONCACAF teams Jamaica and Mexico were brought into the fold for the tournament. The winner of the tourney gets into the Confederations Cup and the US is hosting the tournament in 2016 and El Tri has been in it eight times before and they lost the final in 2001 for that tourney.

El Tri got two goals from in Miguel Layun the matchup against Israel and they got some tough news as Jesus Corona was injured after hitting into Francisco Rodriguez and the team had to use a sub and while he will be fit to travel, it was a scary moment. The team announced there were no issues and he should be fine for the tournament. Ecuador plays against Mexico and then against England for their two matchups in the friendly schedule and they come in after recently playing the Netherlands and before that they got a win against Australia.
