Lolo Jones is hoping to earn gold in the women's 100-meter hurdles when she joins Team USA at the London Olympic Games. She's spent the four years following her seventh place finish in Beijing mapping out what she believes to be a winning strategy.
But Jones may also have a strategy for landing her rumored love target, Tim Tebow.
Being as both Jones and Tebow have publicly declared themselves to be celibate until marriage, Jets C Nick Mangold thought it would be fun to play matchmaker for the two "untouched" athletes. During a recent interview, Mangold made his intentions to unite the two public and evoked a response from the immaculate female hurdler via twitter. Jones was apparently under the impression that Mr. Tebow was already spoken for (apparently there is lay-away for sex).
Jones told Jay Leno on Monday Night's "The Tonight Show," that "I'm pretty sure I'm just going to invite Tebow to church. It's a 100 percent way not to get rejected."
In other news, New York based sports writer grows desperate for Olympics to actually begin so that he can stop covering Jones's love life (or lack there of) and actually write about her ability to jump over things.
