At last night's Smackdown (yet to be aired) tapings, WWE announced the second signature ladder match to take place at the coming Money in the Bank PPV.
According to Wrestling-Edge.com, the participants in the World Heavyweight Title MITB match will be Damien Sandow, Tyson Kidd, Santino Marella, Christian, and Tensai.
SWR had expected the "blue brand" match to be dedicated to the mid-card performers, but Sandow's inclusion is a bit of a surprise. At one time MITB was a match for proven and somewhat seasoned mid-card talent and Sandow's time on Smackdown is arguably a bit brief to warrant contention for a World Title.
Regardless, expect at least one more name to be added to the match. Cody Rhodes has been rumored to be in line for a main event push and it seems odd that he would be held out of this match. With only five names currently booked, there would certainly be room for him.
Also at last night's tapings, Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio in their scheduled World Title match. It remains unclear if those three will all be involved in MITB's title bout. If not, Ziggler is a likely candidate to be added to the ladder match as well.
