Virginia Cavaliers vs. Mississippi Live Stream: Watch Online College World Series Streaming Game

The College World Series 2014 is live online with Virginia and Mississippi playing on Saturday after it was suspended for a storm on Friday and the game from Omaha is has a live stream on ESPN and is on TV from ESPN2 starting up at 3 pm ET and that is a double elimination game for the Cavaliers and Ole Miss comes in after winning over TCU and they are looking strong.

Ole Miss comes into this game after winning over TCU and they were able to beat the Horned Frogs with some timely hitting from Will Allen, who broke out of a slump to get things going. Allen has been key for the Rebels and he had three hits and three crucial RBIs in the game and that put the team through to this game against Virginia, which of course was delayed by a storm and now things pick up on Saturday. Virginia won a 15 inning game to advance to this matchup and they played against Mississippi and won before that game against TCU and now they are on the schedule and this could have another game if Ole Miss wins, as this is a double elimination matchup.

The game between Virginia and Mississippi was suspended and they got through an inning and a half with the Cavaliers getting two hits and Ole Miss putting up an error. Virginia won their game against TCU in 15 innings to tie the longest game in College World Series history and they got it done with Nate Irving and Daniel Pinero and that came after the team had 16 batters go down without getting on base. The amount of innings made it the longest game in CWS history and was the fourth longest on the clock and now the team is back in action and they will be well rested and ready to go.

Texas has turned things up and the Longhorns have the chance to make it into the Championship round of the College World Series with a win against Vanderbilt after beating Vandy once already and now they are in an elimination game. Vanderbilt advanced after winning over UC Irvine and that put them into this game and now they matchup with the Longhorns, who snapped a years long streak at the CWS after eliminating Louisville in Omaha and now they are playing against Vandy. The Anteaters were one of the last 64 teams in the tournament and they lost to Texas after beating OK State and Oregon State earlier in the tournament.

Virginia has already had a walk off win against Mississippi and they are hoping to do the same again this time, or at least win with less of a dramatic flair. TCU was eliminated from the tournament by Ole Miss and now Will Allen and company will be looking to beat a Cavaliers team that has shown it is very resilient. The team bounced back against Texas Christian after the team did not allow a batter to advance in extra innings before the bottom of the 15th and Virginia capitalized.
