World Cup Round of 16 Bracket 2014: Brazil Printable Draw PDF For Knockout Stage

The World Cup Round of 16 bracket in Brazil 2014 has a number of teams advanced into the knockout stage from group play and a printable updated draw and bracket with a PDF link can be found below, as teams like Brazil, Mexico, Netherlands, Chile, Costa Rica, Argentina, Colombia and Belgium are all through, while the United States, Germany, France and Italy all can clinch in their next games.

The World Cup schedule continues this week with group matches and those are the third games for teams in each group and that will set up the knockout stage, which starts on Saturday. The round of 16 begins on Saturday, June 28 at noon and that will have the winner of Group A taking on the runner up in Group B, while the 4 pm match will have the Group C winner matching up with the runner up in Group D and that game will be in Rio.

The United States had the chance to clinch their spot in the round of 16 with the game against Portugal, but they let their lead slip away late and now they need a point against Germany to advance. The team can advance based on what happens with Portugal and Ghana, as a draw would send them in along with wins for either team with the right score. The US can advance on goals if Portugal wins and the score is good for them and the United States is hoping it does not come to that.

Team USA bounced back after an early goal and got responses in the second half from Jermaine Jones and Clint Dempsey, but Ronaldo's cross put Portugal even and the game ended soon after that. The schedule for the round of 16 continues through next week and leads into the elimination games and then towards the finals on July 13. The quarterfinals start up on July 4 and has two games on Friday, while two more games will be on Saturday before the final matches of that round on Saturday.

The semis start up on Tuesday, July 8 and has the second matchup on Wednesday July 9. The third place game comes the next day on Saturday, while the finals will be on Sunday. Last time it was Spain and the Netherlands in South Africa and before that it was Italy and France, with the Italian side winning in Germany in 2006. Brazil remains one of the heavy favorites along with Germany and Argentina, while the Dutch, French and United States teams have also looked strong and they could be factors if they can get into the deeper rounds.
