The Toronto Blue Jays and LA Angels are playing on the MLB schedule on Tuesday night and the game is live from Angel Stadium of Anaheim at 10:05 pm ET with RA Dickey taking on Tyler Skaggs and the Angels come in as one of the hottest teams in the league and they are in playoff position in the American League.

The Blue Jays were leading the Baltimore Orioles in the AL East, but they have slumped of late and now the Angels are looking to keep up their winning ways. The team has won 11 games in a row at home and they have been very strong and have gone 20-2 over the last 22 games and the team is hitting nearly .300 during that stretch and they are going strong this year. Skaggs is looking to keep things going and Mike Trout has been one of the leaders along with Albert Pujols and Howie Kendrick.

The Angels have now won 31 games at home and they come in ranked in the top five in all of the main offensive categories, including second in runs. The team is also fourth in batting average and slugging percentage, while the team is third in on base percentage. The team won on Monday against the Blue Jays and now they are trying for another win as they chase the Oakland A's and they have firmly taken hold of the wild card. The team is in the middle of the pack pitching wise, but they have been hitting the ball very well.

The Jays are battling with the Orioles and the Yankees in the AL East and they are ranked fourth in the league in runs, but they will miss Edwin Encarnacion in the lineup. He will be out of the All Star game coming up and Kyle Seager is replacing him on the roster and he is well deserving and now these teams are matching up, with Jose Bautista and Mike Trout some of the leaders.
