NBA Summer League Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming Las Vegas Basketball Games

The NBA Summer League 2014 from Las Vegas is live and NBA.com has the live stream coverage as young stars from around the league compete in games in Nevada and on Monday there are eight games on the schedule, with the NY Knicks and Charlotte Hornets starting off at 4 pm ET, while the Sacramento Kings, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, LA Lakers, Golden State Warriors and La Clippers are also in action.

The Knicks are looking to continue their strong play in the summer league and so far Tim Hardaway has been playing very well, averaging 22 points in two games, while Cole Aldrich is leading the team in rebounding. The Knicks are 2-0 already in the summer league and they are hoping to keep things going and this has been the first chance for Derek Fisher to coach.

Fisher is thrilled to have the chance to coach here and he is also happy about the return of Carmelo Anthony, as he is back on a five year deal and that gives the Knicks more to build on. The team already traded Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton and now more could be on the way to help bring in players for Anthony. The east still has LeBron James with the Cleveland Cavaliers and now the power shifts a bit to the central with the Chicago Bulls and the Indiana Pacers. The Knicks now have an opening in their division, as the Raptors are back but the Brooklyn Nets are looking terrible.

Andrew Wiggins is playing well this summer alongside Anthony Bennett and while all reports say that he will not be traded, when it comes to Kevin Love, who knows what will happen. Either way, Wiggins is in as the number one overall draft pick and he has been playing well so far at Cox Pavilion as the Summer League continues to move along. The Orlando League started up earlier in the summer and now this one will go through July.

Wiggins and fellow top draft pick Jabari Parker have matched up in Las Vegas and Wiggins won that battle, scoring more points and having his team win the game. The Suns lost a key player, as Alex Len will be out with a finger injury and he will miss the rest of the summer league. Len is looking to get minutes, as he missed last season after getting ankle surgery and now he has to deal with this injury after being taken at number five overall last season.

The summer league doesn't usually mean too much translating into real games during the season, but it gives rookies the chance to start playing against fellow professionals. The league also gives teams the chance to try out new schemes and also gives younger players a chance to get minutes after being behind veterans all season. This summer has a number of high profile players and the coverage has been strong from the media and other outlets as Wiggins and Parker debut.
