ESPY Awards 2014 Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming ESPYs On ESPN Drake Host

The ESPY Awards for 2014 are live on ESPN and WatchESPN online on Wednesday night at 9 pm ET from the Nokia Center in Los Angeles with Drake hosting the show and the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly awards will be doled out to the best players, teams, athletes and plays from the sports year and while it usually is a pat on the back for ESPN, this year should have some great winners and champions getting their due and The 2014 ESPYS presented by Capital One is the official name of the show.

There are a number of top categories that will be tough to win this year and one of the best has best male athlete and has Miguel Cabrera taking on Peyton Manning as well as Kevin Durant. The categories are broken down by sport and also by plays and championships and this year the best team award should be interesting as well, especially with the way the Seahawks dominated the Super Bowl. Michael Sam is taking the Arthur Ashe award while Stuart Scott is being given the Jimmy V Award and the ESPYs are the yearly chance for ESPN to pat themselves on the back, but like the first two mentioned there, the ESPYs has plenty of good to go along with it as well.

Drake is leading the show and he will be hosting and a number of famous celebs and athletes will be handing out awards, including Dan Marino, Colin Kaepernick, Victor Cruz and Cameron Diaz as well as Maria Sharapova. This year there are some great options for the fans, including in the best upset category as well as the best breakthrough athletes and that has names like Masahiro Tanaka as well as Richard Sherman, Damian Lillard and Nick Foles battling. The ESPYs are usually judged based on who the host is and this year Drake should do a fine job, as he is a massive sports fan and also has the sense of humor to keep things light when they need to be. This year there are a number of great candidates in various categories, including Auburn football, Peyton Manning, the Seattle Seahawks, LeBron James, Nick Foles, LeSean McCoy, Mike Trout and much more. The best championship performance has some big names, including Shabazz Napier, David Ortiz and Kawhi Leonard, while the best game has Alabama against Auburn, the AFC Wild Card game between the Colts and Chiefs, while the NY Rangers and Kings Game 5 is also competing.
