MLB All-Star Rosters 2012: Yankees and Giants Dominate Starting Lineups

The fans have spoken, the votes have been tallied, and come July 10th the stars will shine.

The 17 starters for this year's All Star Game at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City was announced last night on the 2012 MLB All-Star Game Selection Show presented by Taco Bell on TBS.

Josh Hamilton, Texas Rangers outfielder, shattered previous voting records receiving over 11 million votes. Hamilton becomes only the third Ranger to finish as the top overall vote-getter in the Majors, following Ivan Rodriguez and Alfonso Soriano.

In the National League, Giants catcher Buster Posey, who tallied 7,621,370 votes, set the National League balloting record, surpassing Milwaukee outfielder Ryan Braun's 5,928,004 votes in 2011.

All Star Game managers include National League manager Tony La Russa and American League manager Ron Washington
