NBA Free Agency: Jeremy Lin Visits Houston Rockets Tomorrow

According to ESPN's Chris Broussard, Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets will be meeting tomorrow.

Do not get scared New York Knick fans, the meeting will give Lin an idea of what he is worth out on the market. In return, the Knicks will then know what price they will have to match.

It is funny that he will make a stop at Houston. The Rockets released Lin to make room for Samuel Dalembert last winter. They had three point guards and saw Lin as an expendible piece.

The only reason why the Knicks came across Lin was because Iman Shumpert had gone down after having knee problems. Prior to the injury, Shumpert had a great start to his rookie season.

Although things do not look serious, the Rockets' general manager did express grief after releasing Lin last December. "We should have kept [Jeremy Lin]. Did not know he was this good," Morey wrote on his official Twitter account.

To his defense, nobody knew Lin was that good.

Lin led the Knicks to a seven game winning streak  after he got regular time to play.

Last season, he averaged close to 15 points and just over 6 assists a game. The Knicks have been in talks with 2-time MVP, Steve Nash. Lin learning from Nash could elevate the 23-year-old's skills.

Lin already possesses a lot of talent. If the Knicks could get Nash and nothing surprising happens tomorrow in the meeting with the Rockets, Lin could easily become an elite point guard in the NBA.
