NY Giants Preseason Schedule: Start Time and TV Channel For Hall of Fame Game Against Buffalo Bills

The NY Giants are getting their preseason schedule started early in 2014, as the team is in the Hall of Fame game this year against the Buffalo Bills and the game is from Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio on Sunday, August 3 and will start at 8 pm ET on NBC and the NBC Sports Live Extra website will have the live stream coverage.

The Bills and Giants each are trying to bounce back and the G-Men have Michael Strahan heading into the HOF as the game gets ready. The two teams likely will have starters play for a little while and then the B, C and D squads will get their time as well. Depth is an issue for both teams and the players that play actually could be major contributors for this season.

The Giants open with the Bills and then play against the Pittsburgh Steelers for their first official preseason game. The Indianapolis Colts and then the NY jets are next and those are away games, even the Jets one and then the team finishes with their yearly game against the Patriots, which obviously is always fun for the Giants.

The Giants had a very rough start to the season last year while going 0-6 and eventually finishing 7-9 and out of the playoffs and now they are looking for a massive rebound this year. The team has Eli Manning coming back healthy from ankle surgery and he has a new offense to learn from Ben McAdoo and he must improve as well after throwing 27 picks last season.

The Giants have five preseason games this year and in most years that would be a bad thing, but with the new offense from McAdoo coming in, this is perfect time to see it in action. The extra game could be huge for the season as long as there are no major injuries and it also gives Manning extra time to work with his teammates, as the Giants were able to open training camp sooner than other teams.

The Giants made a number of moves this offseason and turned over nearly half of their roster and the biggest addition for the team could be running back Rashad Jennings. The team was horrible rushing the ball and he comes in after leading the Raiders and he also is a good back out of the backfield catching the ball and that could be massive in this offense. The team also drafted Andre Williams and he will be looked at as a major contributor, especially with David Wilson coming down with another neck issue.
