Wimbledon 2012 TV Schedule and Preview: Day 9 Men's Quarterfinals

We are just hours away from the beginning of the Gentlemen's Quarter-finals.

Roger Federer will take the court against Mikhail Youzhny.

If there is anything we have learned from the previous rounds of the tournament is that rankings do not mean much once out on the court.

Youzhny comes into the match ranked 33rd in the tournament compared to Federer who is No. 3.

Rafael Nadal No. 2 was eliminated in the second round by Lukas Rosol (100).

Anything could happen.

Playing after Federer will be David Ferrer (7) and Andy Murray (4).

Both players have yet to win a Grand Slam title as pros. It should be the best match of the day since the players are closely ranked.

No British player has made it to the Finals since 1938 when Bunny Austin lost at Wimbledon.

All four of these contenders will be active on Centre Court and the games will kickoff at 1PM in London/ 8AM EDT.

Novak Djokovic will be playing on Court No. 1 against Florian Mayer (26).

Djokovic from Serbia and Mayer from Germany will faceoff in the first match on the court. It is a little weird that Djokovic will not be at Centre Court since he is the No. 1 ranked in the tournament, but the man can play tennis anywhere on the planet.

Following Djokovic's match, Philipp Kohlschreiber (30) will matchup against Joe-Wilfried Tsonga (5).

You can catch the matches on ESPN beginning at 8AM EDT/1PM in London.

The Ladies have the day off.
