Wimbledon 2012 TV Schedule and Matchups Day 10: Semifinals Serena Williams Looks to Advance

The men have finished their matches and their Semi-final matchups are set.

The women will now take the court on Thursday and battle to see who will be a Finalist at Wimbledon.

All the remaining competitors are ranked in single digits.

The highest ranked woman left in competition is Bulgarian, Victoria Azarenka who is second only behind to last year's champion, Maria Sharapova.

She already has a Grand Slam title under her belt as she took the Australian Open earlier in the year.

In 2011, Azarenka went all the way to the Semi-finals, but this year she wants to win it all.

She will have to get past a Serena Williams who has looked like the Serena of old.

She has cruised through most of her competition at Wimbledon and finds herself within two matches of claiming her fifth career Wimbledon championship.

If age were deciding factor, Azarenka would hold the edge as Serena is the only female in the Semis who is over 30 years of age.

Of course, experience is always key as Serena is the only player left who has won a Wimbledon tournament.

In the other matchup, 8th ranked Angelique Kerber will face Agnieszka Radwanska, who is ranked 3rd.

Radwanska has never won a Grand Slam title and is the Semis for the 3rd time in her six-year career.

Kerber is in her second Semi-finals. Last year, she made it to the Semis in the U.S. Open.
