The MLB Standings in 2014 are getting tight and the division race in the AL West now has the LA Angels leading the Oakland Athletics, while the Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City Royals, Washington Nationals, Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers are leaders now, while the wild cards in the American League and National League have the A's. Seattle Mariners and Tigers close along with the Cardinals and Giants in the NL.
The American League division races are getting close everywhere except for the AL East, where the Baltimore Orioles are leading the Yankees by seven games and the Blue Jays by eight heading into Tuesday's games. The AL Central has the Kansas City Royals in first place over the Detroit Tigers and now the west is tight with the Angels leading the A's and even the Mariners are still alive. The NL is starting to take shape and the NL East has the Washington Nationals leading, while the Brewers are leading the Central and the Dodgers are tops in the west.
The AL wild card chase has the Oakland Athletics and Seattle Mariners leading and the Detroit Tigers are basically in right now as well. The Yankees and Blue Jays are also in the mix. The NL has the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants, while the Braves and Pirates are there as well.
