Chicago Bears Fantasy Football: Matt Forte, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, Jay Cutler Best Draft Options 2014

The Chicago Bears had a great offensive season in 2013 and now the team is hoping to do that again in 2014 and names like Matt Forte, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, Jay Cutler and Martellus Bennett are the best team picks for owners from Marc Trestman's squad and some of those players could be huge performers this year.

Forte is one of the top picks in all of football and this comes after he had a career season last year and that included him making a ton of catches out of the backfield. If Forte can do that again he will be one of the top players in the league and along with Marshall and Jeffery, those three are some of the top fantasy performers in all of football. Cutler needs to stay healthy this season and if he remains on the field for at least 14-16 games, the Bears should be right in the mix for the playoffs.

Forte comes in after averaging over four yards per carry last season and he rushed for 1,339 yards to lead the team and if he is in that wheelhouse again, he should be very good and so should the Bears overall. Last season Forte also had a career high 74 catches on 94 targets for another 600 yards and that type of production is massive for the Bears. The team has not had much behind Forte recently and now he will get another chance to be the man.

Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery were fantastic last season and they ended up with 189 combined catches along with 19 touchdowns together. That type of production is great considering Josh McCown played for Cutler and now those two return and they also have Martellus Bennett at tight end. Bennett had 65 catches last season for nearly 800 yards and he should be another strong option at tight end. The Bears have a great offense with Trestman and with their stars in Cutler, Forte and the wideouts, they could be one of the highest scoring teams in the NFC.

Forte's is a rare type of production is rare in the NFL and only players like Jamaal Charles and not many others come close to that. Forte is a great option for fantasy owners and he comes in looking to have an even better season this year.

At WR it's hard to argue one name over another, but Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall are two names to draft early and to grab when owners can get them. The two players combined for 19 touchdowns last season and nearly 200 catches and having Cutler healthy could add even more. Jeffery had 89 catches for 1,421 yards last season and he averaged 16 yards per catch. Marshall was prolific once again and had 100 catches for 1,295 yards and 12 touchdowns and that makes him a number one option.
