The Mario Balotelli transfer to Liverpool rumors came up last week and not it looks like the move from AC Milan is happening for the Italian star, as a $26 Million deal is on the way and that could be a massive move for the Reds, as they need to replace Luis Suarez after he left for Barcelona and this could mark a shift in the Premier League.
According to Pro Soccer Talk, Brendan Rodgers has been denying the move all summer, but now it looks like it's coming true, as the 24 year old is poised to move to Anfield. Balotelli left England for AC Milan on a $30 million deal and now he could be on his way back and Liverpool looks to be the destination, although Rodgers has remained coy the entire time.
Suarez is gone after his biting incident at the World Cup and it comes after he had a fantastic year and led the Premier League in scoring. Liverpool nearly won the title before faltering at the end against Manchester city and now Balotelli could be on the move and that could be one of the biggest deals of the entire summer.
Reports in Italy basically see the move as a done deal, but no official confirmations have happened yet, but that's always how these things go. Balotelli previously played for Manchester City and had 30 goals in 80 games and he was also part of the team that won the first Premier league title during this little run.
Balotelli played for Italy in the World Cup and went back there to play for Milan last year and now he could be returning. Balotelli scored against England to help give his team an opening victory and adding him to the lineup would be massive for Liverpool. Balotelli will join a strong team with Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge and this move could turn the tide in the Premier League.
Balotelli is one of the most well-known and enigmatic players in the world and he showed off some of his skills this summer in the World Cup in Brazil, including on a nice goal against England in the group stage for Italy. Balotelli has had some issues with his effort in the past and some came out to say that again about him in the World Cup and while he may stay, he still could move and it would be one of only a number of major moves on the market this summer.
