Djokovic has done a great job defending his 2011 Wimbledon title. Radek Stepanek forced Djokovic to play four sets in the third round of competition. All of Djokovic's opponents have gone down in three straight sets.
Federer has had low and high points in the tournament. On back-to-back occasion he was caught in a 5-set match and a 4-set match. However, in his last last match versus Mikhail Youzhny, Federer looked to breeze by his competitor. Federer executed perfect tennis.
Djokovic actually looked pretty shaky in his Quarterfinals match, but he was able to pull it together to win and move on to the Semis.
The No. 1 player Djokovic and No. 3 player Federer will meet for the first time at Wimbledon. Djokovic has won the last three matches between the two players.
Of course, Federer possesses more titles. With injuries, his age and young talent rising in the sport of tennis, Federer must take advantage of the opportunity he has in Wimbledon 2012. He stands just two wins away fro his seventh career Wimbledon title.
Following the Federer and Djokovic match, Andy Murray (4) and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will take the court. Murray has all of Great Britain backing him up as they look for a tennis player to represent them in the Finals for the first time since 1938.
