US Open Draw 2014 Release: Full Match Bracket For Men's and Women's Tennis Major Live

The US Open 2014 Draw has been released and the bracket schedule for the tournament starts next week for the men and women at the tennis major championship in Flushing and names like Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Andy Murray have their matchups, while Rafael Nadal will not be playing after injuring his wrist and will not defend his title.

The draw for the tournament has Djokovic in the top seed with Federer in second and that comes after Rafael Nadal had to pull out with a wrist injury. John Isner is a player coming in trying to get some momentum going, while Federer now moves up one spot in the draw with the seeding due to Nadal being out in the ATP major here in Queens. Federer has won five tournaments here and now Dojo and Fed can meet in the finals and that would be a men's final to watch and that is what everyone is hoping for.

Djokovic has performed well at this tournament and he has been in the last four finals and he lost against Nadal last year and in 2010 and he fell to Murray in 2012. Djokovic has been very strong this season and with Nadal out, it gives him a better chance to get something done and the draw comes out on Thursday and will have all the matchups together.

Nadal pulled out of the tournament while dealing with a wrist injury and that means Serena Williams will be the only one defending her title. Nadal said that he tried to rest the wrist and get back to full strength, but that he did not heal up enough to come and defend his title in Queens. Nadal has two titles at the US Open and now he will be out of the tournament along with Juan Martin Del Potro and that takes some star power out of the draw, although the big names like Federer and Djokovic remain along with Andy Murray.

Nadal was injured earlier in the season and he sat out the warm up tournaments in Canada and Cincinnati to rest and try and heal up, but he did not get healthy in time. Nadal is ranked second and said that he was very disappointed that he will not get to defend his title, but that he also had to focus on getting himself healthy. Nadal won the French Open again this year and that is the major he needs to keep winning and while he wants to defend his title, hopefully next year he has the chance to get back to the finals.
