NFL Preseason TV Schedule 2014: Start Time and Channel For Games Thursday Week 4

The NFL preseason schedule for 2014 is about to end with Week 4 on the calendar and this week all games will be on Thursday and the TV start time for the first game is at 6 pm ET and the channel coverage is from the NFL Network, CBS and FOX as the final week plays out with all 32 teams in action and 15 games going on ahead of Week 1 of the regular season schedule.

The first game of the schedule on Thursday has the Atlanta Falcons visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars and that will be at EverBank Stadium. The Falcons are trying to rebound from a terrible 2013 that saw tons of players injured, while Jacksonville is still building for the future and this comes after the team drafted Blake Bortles. The second game on the schedule has the Detroit Lions visiting the Buffalo Bills and that is at Ralph Wilson Stadium and kicks off the 7 pm ET games.

The 7 pm ET hour has four games starting up at that time, including the New York Jets and the Philadelphia Eagles on the NFL Network. That game will be from Lincoln Financial Field and has Michael Vick returning to his old team as a backup with Geno Smith as the starter for this season, while his former backup Nick Foles is the new starter in Philly. The Rams and the Miami Dolphins are playing at Sun Life Stadium and that game is also at 7 pm ET and is the last chance for Michael Sam to make an impression on Jeff Fisher to stay on the 53 man roster.

The Kansas City Chiefs are playing the Green Bay Packers and that will be at Lambeau Field as the last 7 pm ET kick off. The Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers are playing at Heinz Field and that is the first game listed at 7:30 pm ET as Cam Newton and company play against Big Ben. The New England Patriots and the NY Giants are playing at MetLife Stadium as the teams have their annual preseason game and those are always interesting when thinking about the past Super Bowl wins by New York over NE.

The Washington Redskins are visiting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium and that is the last kick off at 7:30 pm ET. The 8 pm games open with the Baltimore Ravens taking on the New Orleans Saints and they will head back to where they won the Super Bowl while playing at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The rest of the schedule includes some solid matchups, including the Chicago Bears visiting the Cleveland Browns. The team will match up with Johnny Manziel and he could see some extended time since Brian Hoyer has been names the starter. The 49ers take on the Houston Texans after that, while the Vikings and Titans are also playing. The Denver Broncos are playing against the Dallas Cowboys on the road, while the Arizona Cardinals and San Diego Chargers start up at 10 pm ET.

The NFL Network has the last game of the night and that has the Seattle Seahawks visiting their Cali neighbors to the South in the Oakland Raiders at 10 pm ET.
