Aaron Hernandez Legal Team Wins Ruling On Odin Lloyd Evidence As Murder Trial Starts 2015

Aaron Hernandez and his legal team scored a win in his murder trial in the hooting of Odin Lloyd, as the judge agreed that certain evidence that was taken from electronic devices from Hernandez's home cannot be used in the trial once it starts in 2015.

According to the Boston Globe, Judge Susan Garsh gave a 28-page ruling on the motion and ruled in favor of Hernandez, writing that some of the evidence found at his home during searches from police as the authorities, "operated under the misimpression that the Search Warrant authorized the seizure of GPS devices when they seized the cell phones and tablets from Hernandez's residence."

The report says that the investigators took an " iPhone 5, a Blackberry Bold cellphone, an Apple iPad, and two iPad minis" when they were serving a warrant for the seizure of a specific cellphone.

Hernandez is being held in jail without bail on first degree murder charges and is also facing two more first degree murder charges in a separate case.
