Top Fantasy Football Sleeper Picks: Tim Wright, Miles Austin, Andrew Hawkins, Mike Evans, Shonn Greene Draft Options

Fantasy Football draft sleeper picks for the 2014 season could be the way for fantasy owners to win their leagues and this season, names like Tim Wright, Miles Austin, Andrew Hawkins, Mike Evans, Shonn Greene and Brandin Cooks could be some very solid options, especially the Browns receivers, as they will likely get more opportunities with Josh Gordon officially suspended for the year.

Gordon was suspended for the season and that loss is massive for the Browns, as he was the leading receiver in the NFL last season. The loss of Gordon opens the door for other names like Andrew Hawkins and Miles Austin as well as Nate Burleson to step up and that gives Brian Hoyer some depth at the position. Those players are not as explosive as Gordon, but they at least give the team some options with him out for the year.

Gordon had 87 catches last season for over 1600 yards and he also added nine touchdowns and those numbers were big improvements over the previous season when he had 50 catches for 805 yards. Gordon was going to miss time this season no matter what, but the Browns hoped that it would be less than a full year, but naturally the NFL came down harder on a weed smoker than someone who beats their wife, because that makes tons of sense.

Hawkins is a player to target for the Browns, as he has the chance to step after getting high marks while working in training camp. Hawkins only played in eight games last season, but the previous year he was very solid with 51 catches for 533 yards and four touchdowns with the Bengals. Nate Burleson is also on the Browns and he could be a solid pickup for teams looking for depth at wide receiver.

Miles Austin is another name to watch on the Browns and while he was injured last season, he was healthy the year before and was very productive. The Browns are hoping he can put up some numbers like he did a few years ago when he was a Pro Bowl receiver with the Cowboys. Shonn Greene is another name to watch, as he may get time with Bishop Sankey and he is coming off of an okay season, but he could do more this year.

Tim Wright could be a major sleeper this year after his trade from the Bucs to the Patriots. The team has Gronk, but his injury status is always a question and now Wright comes in as a solid pass catching tight end. Last season he had 54 catches for over 500 yards and he should be able to add some solid depth at the position after the team previously lost Aaron Hernandez to murder charges and an arrest.
