The NY Mets and Miami Marlins are playing an NL East game live on the MLB schedule on Labor Day Monday and the matchup is from Marlins Park at 1:10 pm ET as Zack Wheeler and Henderson Alvarez face off in the pitching duel and this comes as Miami is still alive in playoff position, while New York is basically done once again.

The Marlins have faded a bit over their last road trip and they come into the game after losing to the Braves in a 1-0 shutout. The team lost to Alex Wood and that saw Craig Kimbrel get his 41st save of the season and now the Marlins are getting ready to take on another division rival in the Mets. NY comes in after a win over the Phillies and they have once again been scuffling and it looks like it will be another long iwnter in Flushing.
