Arsenal Transfer Rumors: Manchester United Danny Welbeck Signs With Gunners On £16 Million Move From Man Utd

Manchester United star Danny Welbeck has moves from Man Utd to Arsenal on transfer deadline day, as the Gunners have signed the home grown star after a £16 million move and while former superstar David Beckham said that he is sad to see the player leave, he expects him to have a great career playing for Arsene Wenger after making the move.

According to the BBC and the Guardian, Welbeck moved on deadline day from Manchester United to Arsenal and now that adds a bit of intrigue between the two teams as the Premier League season continues. Welbeck was considered to be one of the best players to come out of the system with Man Utd and he also starred with England during the World Cup this summer.

The striker had a fine career at Old Trafford and now he will move on to Arsenal and currently he is away with England as they get ready to play against Switzerland on Monday for the Euro 2016 qualifier for the team. Welbeck came up through the ranks and has been with the club since he was a young prospect and now he will move to another major team in the EPL. Last season Man Utd finished seventh in the league standings, while Arsenal was in the top four again and they have made it through the Champions League qualifying into the group stage.

Manchester already had Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney and they also signed Angel Di Maria and Juan Mata over the past year and that has made expectations sky high. The start of the season has been tough so far for Louis Van Gaal, but this move and the push into next week could help the team get over the hump. Welbeck first made his debut with the team back in 2008 and he played in 53 games as a starter and had nearly 40 more appearances coming off of the bench. Welbeck was a popular player among fans and n w he will be with Arsenal and could join the team after next week for the game on the EPL schedule.

Welbeck was very solid during his career in Red and he had 29 goals in 142 United appearances over that time and now he will be moving along. Welbeck first joined the academy for the team when he was eight years old and he made an improbable rise all the way through to the starting lineup. Welbeck has 26 caps for the England team and now he is in on what is called a "long term" deal with Arsenal.

Arsenal comes into the weekend seventh on the table with five points after getting a win and two draws this season, while Man United has two draws and a loss this year so far.
