Major League Baseball teams have wrapped up the first half of their season and it is time to enjoy the stars chosen to participate in the upcoming events on Monday and Tuesday.
The popular and unpredictable Home Run Derby will take place Monday night at 8 p.m. in Kansas City and could be seen on ESPN.
Due to injuries, players have been added and removed from the Derby in recent days. The main guy removed from the competition, who had a great chance of winning the event was Giancarlos Stanton. He will be having knee surgery and will miss the next 6-8 weeks of baseball.
Andrew McCutchen is having a borderline MVP season as he is carrying the first-place Pittsburgh Pirates into first place.
McCutchen will be joining National Leage sluggers Carlos Gonzalez, Carlos Beltran and captain Matt Kemp.
The NL will face American League sluggers, Mark Trumbo, Prience Fielder, Jose Bautista, who will be led by defending Home Run Derby champion Robinson Cano.
These are the head-to-head numbers.
