Fantasy Sleeper Starters 2014: Arian Foster, Doug Martin, Rob Gronkowski, Julio Jones, Jamaal Charles

The fantasy football 2014 season is here and some different type of sleepers this year include Rob Gronkowski, Arian Foster, Jamaal Charles, Doug Martin, Julio Jones, Steven Jackson, Ben Tate, Wes Welker, Dwayne Allen, Hakeem Nicks, Trent Richardson and Darren Sproles, as those players are all coming off of injuries or other issues and could be sleeper picks if owners let them fall in drafts and they potentially could help win a FF league this year.

Gronkowski is the top player to watch among players coming off of injuries, as he has the chance to be a game changer on offense for the Pats and for FF owners. Gronk is a beast when healthy and he could finally be back after two years of dealing with injuries. Arian Foster and Doug Martin are both coming off of injuries and they could have big years if they stay healthy. Julio Jones is one of the most dominant players in the league and he has an injury to get over and he could be in for a big rebound.

Charles had a couple injury scares in the preseason and last season, but he is coming into the year healthy and should be one of the top two players off the board. Charles is strong rushing the ball and is a great PPR pick as well after leading the Chiefs in receptions last year. Dwayne Allen, Hakeem Nicks and Trent Richardson are all looking to bounce back for the Colts and both Nicks and Allen could have big years with Andrew Luck, as he has some nice weapons with TY Hilton and Coby Fleener.

Ben Tate dealt with a rib issue last year, but he is back healthy, while Steven Jackson could not stay healthy last season with the Falcons and now he is looking to come back strong. Last season Gronk had 39 catches for 592 yards in just seven games and that came after he played in just 11 games the season before. Gronk had 15 touchdowns despite the injuries, but he wants to be back to his 2011 numbers, which saw him grab 90 balls for 1327 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Arian Foster is coming back after missing half the season with injuries and he is looking to get back to his 2012 form when he had one of his best seasons. Foster has scored double digit TDs in three of the past four years and before getting injured, he had at least 1200 yards in three straight seasons, including 1411 yards in 2012 to go along with 15 touchdowns. Last season Foster had just 542 yards rushing and he also had 22 catches for 183 yards and if he stays healthy, he could be a top FF performer again.

Julio and Charles are massively productive and Charles is coming in with the chance to be the top player in fantasy if he is healthy. Jones said his foot is feeling good and he comes in after a great season was cut short, as he had 41 catches in just five games last season for 580 yards and was on pace for big numbers. Jones had 79 catches for 1198 yards the season before and the Falcons are hoping he can get back to that.
