Fantasy Football Start or Sit Thursday: Markus Wheaton, Le'Veon Bell, LeGarrette Blount, Antonio Brown Best Steelers Starters

The fantasy football Week 2 schedule starts Thursday and some players to start or sit for the matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ravens include Markus Wheaton, LeGarrette Blount, Le'Veon Bell, Antonio Brown, Heath Miller and Big Ben Roethlisberger and this game on CBS will have even more attention, as it's the first game since the Ray Rice scandal blew up big for Roger Goodell.

Markus Wheaton is a sleeper starter for this season after Mike Wallace left before last year and Emmanuel Sanders this past offseason, as he now is the second man behind Antonio Brown. Wheaton has the chance to put up some big numbers and so does Brown, as he is the top guys for Big Ben and has explosive skills at the WR position. The running back situation has Bell and Blount and for anyone looking to choose, go with Bell, as he is the starter, but expect Blount to be in on the action in Week 2 also.

Wheaton is a strong route runner and he has played in a pass happy offense before in college and he has the chance to be a strong number three guy on fantasy teams. Wheaton is a prime start for Week 2, as the Ravens could be off their game a bit with the way things have gone down this week. Wheaton comes into the game with six catches for 97 yards in Week 1 and that already beat out what he did last season with six catches for 64 yards. Wheaton could be a major sleeper player going forward for fantasy owners.

Bell comes in as the starting RB and he is a good starter to pick on Thursday, as he should be getting the ball plenty for the Steelers. Bell comes into the game after having a great Week 1 and he put up 109 yards on 21 carries and also added six catches for 88 yards in the game. Bell is going to keep doing that all season and he is a great option in PPR leagues as well. Bell set a new career high in total yards in this game and he averaged over five yards per carry and if he can keep that up, he could be a top 10 back this season. Last year Bell had a strong year despite missing time, going for over 1200 total yards in 13 games.

Blount had a very quiet game in Week 1, but he could get more touches in this game against the Ravens. Blount ended up with four rushes for just six yards, but he did have a touchdown and that is where he could end up very valuable. Last season Blount had seven touchdowns and 772 yards with the Patriots and now he could end up as a solid number three on fantasy teams, especially if he ends up scoring 5-10 TDs.

Antonio Brown is the top WR and he had a great game to start the season, putting up five catches for 116 yards and a touchdown. Brown has the chance to be very productive this season and it comes after he had a career year last season. Browns finished with 110 catches last season with 1499 yards and eight TDs.
