ESPN Body Issue 2012: Rob Gronkowski One of 27 Athletes Chosen

So when you sign a new contract extention, have a great personality, make it to the Super Bowl and win a celebrity softball home run derby competition, the last thing you have to do is pose naked for ESPN's 2012 Body Issue.

Rob Gronkowski, tight end of the New England Patriots, posed naked for the magazine issue, which is set to hit newsstands on July 13th.

The 23-year-old just finished being the best paid tight end in the history of football after signing a 6-year $54 million contract with the Pats.

Gronkowski used his body on the field to become one of the most feared receivers in the NFL, and now, fans will be able to see what his body looks like without the helmet, pads and jersey.

At 6' 6" and 265 pounds, Gronkowski is pure muscle, as seen in the photography taken by ESPN.

He will join 27 other athletes in the fourth annual issue ESPN has launched.

Though they pose naked, it is an artistic interpretation of these athletes' chiseled bodies.

As a fan, one can appreciate the hard work and sacrifice these people have made to perform the way they do in their respective sports.

When looking at their toned figures, one can only admire their god-like features.
