The St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers are playing live on the MLB schedule on Tuesday night and the NL Central series is from Busch Stadium and the Brew Crew are now looking up at the Cards in the division after leading basically all season and Lance Lynn will take on Wily Peralta in the game as the Brewers try and remain in wild card contention and STL tries to get closer to a division title.
The Brewers looked like a lock to win the division a few months ago and now they may not even make the playoffs in the NL. The team has been passed by the Cardinals and like many say, it's getting to September and October and the Cardinals are basically in already. The team has a nice lead over the Brewers and they are not even next in line with the Pirates also right there, but the Cards have the advantage right now.
The NL wild card standings has the Brewers behind the Pirates for the second spot and they still have the chance to make it in. The team has fallen off hard and right now they have a zero run differential and their second half has been terrible. The team now has the chance to at least challenge for the second spot and they were looking like a guaranteed playoff team not that long ago.
