Fantasy Start or Sit: Khiry Robinson, Isaiah Crowell, Darren Sproles, Bishop Sankey, Terrance West, Justin Forsett Week 3 Options

The Fantasy Football Week 3 schedule is about to begin and some start or sit options at RB this week include Darren Sproles, Khiry Robinson, Isaiah Crowell, Bishop Sankey, Terrance West, Justin Forsett and Steven Jackson, as those names have the chance to step up for various reasons, including that some running backs are coming in for injured players and also for other legal circumstances.

Darren Sproles was the NFC offensive player of the week after his big game on Monday night football and going forward he is a very solid starting option for the Eagles. The team has LeSean McCoy, but Sproles gives them another dimension and he can catch the ball out of the backfield as good as anyone. Khiry Robinson is another option to start and he should get a boost with Mark Ingram injured. The Saints RB now will be out for at least a month and that gives Robinson and Pierre Thomas the chance to put up some good numbers.

Isaiah Crowell and Terrance West are coming in as strong starters after playing well over the first two weeks and they are getting looks because of Ben Tate and his injury. Tate is expected to miss a few weeks and that means West and Crowell should be getting starter carries going forward. West is a dynamic back that can make noise out of the backfield, while Crowell has shown that he can get into the endzone and that makes him a valuable option in fantasy.

The Ray Rice situation has Justin Forsett and Bernard Pierce as options and right now it looks like Forsett is the man who will be starting. Forsett has been solid so far and Pierce has not been playing up to his potential, so for fantasy owners, Forsett should be the pick. The Vikings are in a tough situation with Adrian Peterson and now Matt Asiata is the starter for the team. Asiata had a solid game without Peterson in the lineup and ended up with a touchdown and some solid yardage and now he will be the starter.

Bishop Sankey is going to get his chance and the team should give him some carries this week and he could be a breakout player. Sproles had another fantastic game on Monday, scoring a touchdown off of a rushing play and he also added seven catches for 152 yards and in PPR leagues he is extremely valuable. Sproles had over 70 catches last season and he looks perfect in the Chip Kelly offense.

Robinson has had a slow start to the season and now he should get a boost with Ingram out. Robinson has 59 yards this season and he should be getting an expanded role along with Thomas as the next few weeks roll on. West had 100 yards in his first game and he comes in after scoring 40 touchdowns in college last season, so he has the pedigree behind him. The Browns, Vikings and Ravens are all missing their starting RBs for various reasons and now fantasy owners can take advantage with their backups and reserve players.
