Oklahoma State vs. Texas Tech Live Stream: Watch Online Big 12 College Football Games Streaming 7:30 PM ET

The Oklahoma State Cowboys are looking like a real threat in college football as they sit ranked No. 24 on the season. After nearly knocking off Florida State in the first week, they bounced back with two very solid performances and will now test the conference play against Texas Tech as the Red Raiders come to town for a Big 12 matchup.

The Cowboys were not expected to be this good this season. Oklahoma State lost 17 starters from last year's team that went 10-3 while playing in the Cotton Bowl, but head coach Mike Gundy has the team looking more balanced than ever as they prepare for their conference opener against Texas Tech. They got the ball rolling early and despite losing 37-31 to the Seminoles, the Cowboys are looking poised to make a real run into the newly installed playoff system.

Daxx Garman is leading the way at quarterback for the team. He has 559 yards passing and four touchdowns on the season while JR Walsh is likely out for the year following foot surgery. Against Texas-San Antonio he went 16 of 30 for 315 yards and two scores. It was Garman's first start since high school. Gundy praised the quarterback for his accuracy on the year, confident that it improves. The real threat is their two-headed rushing attack. Tyreek Hill and Rennie Childs are doing a solid job in the backfield with 135 yards and 130 yards respectively on the year.

The Red Raiders must be careful of the rushing attack. They gave up 438 yards to the Arkansas Razorbacks while surrendering a Big 12 worst 432.7 yards of offense per game. That will not serve them well against the aggressive offense of the Cowboys. However, Texas Tech has quarterback Davis Webb who is looking like a star at this point in the season. He has 982 yards and 10 touchdowns so far with a 64.8 completion percentage.

This game was an offensive showdown last season as Oklahoma State put up 957 yards total while running for 281 yards in the win. The Cowboys have not lost at home to Texas Tech since 2001.
