Fantasy Football Week 4 Sleepers: Donald Brown, Malcom Floyd, Travis Kelce, Bobby Rainey, Jeremy Kerley Surprise Options

The fantasy football schedule is in Week 4 and some solid sleepers and pickup options on the free agent waiver market include Allen Robinson, Bobby Rainey, Jeremy Kerley, Donald Brown, Malcom Floyd, Matt Asiata, Eddie Royal and Larry Donnell, as those players have the chance to be surprises and step up heading into the weekend due to injuries or other issues and they can help FF owners win their matchups.

The Chargers lost Ryan Mathews and Danny Woodhead to injuries and that makes Donald Brown a very sold pickup for fantasy owners. The Chargers have the chance to be good and they were planning on rushing the ball quite a bit this year and that could open things up for Brown. Allen Hurns, Cecil Shorts and Blake Bortles are also solid options for teams in need of free agents, as Bortles now likely will be the starter for Chad Henne going forward. Hurns has been a sleeper through the first few weeks of the season, while Shorts is coming back and could make an impact.

Steve Johnson has the chance to breakout more with the Niners coming up, as Vernon Davis has been injured and now he could be a top target for Colin Kaepernick. Matt Asiata comes in as the starter for Adrian Peterson while he deals with his legal issues and he is a smart pickup along with Jerick McKinnon, who has gotten a boost as the backup for Asiata. Brian Quick has been the top receiver with the Rams and while they have QB issues, someone has to catch the ball and he looks like the best bet for the time being.

Malcom Floyd has stepped up for the Chargers and with Keenan Allen a bit banged up, he is another option to start. Doug Martin owners should keep an eye on the injury report, as he looks ready to go, but he could be limited and that makes Bobby Rainey an option as well. Rainey has played well in relief of Martin the past two seasons, but he looks ready to return and it would be a smart move to keep Rainey in case Martin goes down again.

Jeremy Kerley and Travis Kelce are also two players to keep an eye on, as they are coming off of solid games. The Jets have a tough matchup with the Lions, but Kerley has shown he can be like a number one for the team. Kelce had his first touchdown and he is another athletic tight end that has the potential to put up big numbers this season.

Donnell already did his damage for the week and moving forward he could end up being one of the best players in fantasy at the TE position. Donnell had three touchdowns in the first half against the Washington Redskins on Thursday and moving forward he is a strong start option in all leagues, especially if Eli Manning continue to play at a high level. Donnell came in as a raw player and he has shown that he can be an option like Gronk or Jimmy Graham and while he is not as dominant as those dudes, he sure has the size for it.
