Michigan State comes in after a dominating win over Eastern Michigan that saw the team score over 70 points and that came after a tough loss to Oregon. The Ducks were dominant at home and the team plays against Wyoming before matching up with Nebraska and that heads into two road games with Purdue and Indiana. The Big Ten conference has a number of solid teams and while the conference is weak overall, Michigan State has the chance to be in the playoff mix if they run the table.

The schedule picks up down the stretch and they are the favorites right now with Wisconsin and Nebraska in the conference after winning it last year over Ohio State. The team plays two on the road and then has their two biggest games of the season against Michigan and Ohio State and that comes before they finish the season. The team has two of three on the road to end the year and that has Maryland and Rutgers ahead of a game against Penn State on the road.
