The fantasy football Week 4 schedule continues on Sunday and heading into the weekend some sleepers and free agents to pick up include Alfred Blue, Jamaal Charles, Arian Foster, Brandon Marshall, Donald Brown, Jordan Matthews, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree, Steve Johnson, Knile Davis and Jordan Matthews, as they could be major contributors going forward and could be the difference between wins and losses in matchups this week.
Foster is questionable for this week and he is dealing with a hamstring injury and he is a true game time decision along with Brandon Marshall, Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree. Foster could have pain coming into the game and could get held out, but he has practiced all week and he could play. Fantasy owners should start him as long as he is playing, while Alfred Blue could get the start for Foster if he is held out. The Texans and fantasy owners are hoping to have Foster back, as he was out last week and the team lost to the Giants.
Marshall comes in dealing with an ankle injury and he is expected to play, but he was held out of practice all week and that could mean he is held out from the game too. The Bears likely wanted to give Marshall more time off after the team had a Monday night game to make sure he was rested up for the divisional matchup and he will be a gametime decision. If he starts, fantasy owners should put him in, as he showed two weeks ago he can be strong despite playing hurt after scoring three touchdowns. Marshall has toughed it out before and he may do that again at home against the Packers.
Alfred Blue came in for Arian Foster and had a strong game for the Texans and he could be an option if Foster has to miss any more time. Jordan Matthews had his first touchdown with the Eagles and while Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin are ahead of him on the depth chart, he has emerged as a strong third option. Donald Brown is a top pick up due to injuries with Ryan Mathews and Danny Woodhead out and that gives Brown the chance to step up.
Brown is the top back with the Chargers now, as Mathews is expected to be out for a month and Woodhead now is out for the season. John Brown had a strong game for the Cardinals and the speedster could be a very solid in deeper leagues after scoring two touchdowns in the win over the 49ers. Taliaferro emerged as a strong pick up after coming in for Bernard Pierce for the Ravens and he could be a better option over Justin Forsett.
