The NY Yankees and Boston Red Sox are playing live on the MLB schedule on Sunday and the matchup is live from Fenway Park at 1:35 pm ET on TBS and it is the final game for Derek Jeter and he will be at DH after finishing his shortstop career in New York at Yankee Stadium and Michael Pineda and Clay Buchholz will be on the mound.
Jeter had a fantastic final game and he will only be able to follow that up after finishing his Yankee career with a game winning hit in the Bronx. Jeter had a magical ending in the Bronx for his real career ending and had the Yankees not been playing the Red Sox, there is a chance that they would not even have Jeter playing. Jeter had the game winning and earlier lead grabbing RBIs in the game and he now will finish his career without playing at any other position but shortstop.
The Red Sox shelled Masahiro Tanaka and the Yankees have been eliminated from the playoffs and now the team has Jeter playing in only in his first few games when the team was eliminated. The AL Wild Card race is not done yet in the American League and the Mariners are still alive for the end of the season and they have Robinson Cano after he signed with the Mariners.
