Manchester City Rumors: Joe Hart To Start Champions League Match Against Roma

Manchester City is coming off of an English Premier League championship and as they head into their next UEFA Champions League match against Roma, manager Manuel Pellegrini has said that Joe Hart will be starting in net when they play on Tuesday over Willy Caballero.

According to Pro Soccer Talk, manager Manuel Pellegrini said that the team is taking its Champions League group schedule seriously and that it's a "crucial" game for the team after losing their first match. Roma won their first group match and he added that they do not want to give away any points at home and while Hart hasn't always been starting, he will get the nod here after working as England's goalie this summer.

Caballero has played in net for Man City over the last two games and the team won those with 11 goals in their last games and now they have the tough matchup coming in the Champions League. Hart begin the season as the starter and while Caballero was out for the bashing of Sheffield United, he played the next match against Hull City and that was a win for the team.

Man City comes into the week third in the English Premier League standings and they are chasing Chelsea and Southampton in the top three. The team is ahead of Arsenal by a point and things are tight at the top, with Swansea City and Aston Villa ahead of Manchester United.
