NY Giants Rumors: Odell Beckham Sleeper Fantasy Football Pickup As Eli Manning Likes Larry Donnell, Victor Cruz, Rueben Randle Options

The NY Giants are finally getting Odell Beckham onto the field and fantasy football owners should look at him as a sleeper free agent pickup moving into Week 5 if he returns, as Eli Manning has had solid receivers in Likes Larry Donnell, Victor Cruz, Rueben Randle and Preston Parker and now he has another one to add to the mix and that could really open up things for this New York offense.

The Giants have had Beckham on the sidelines since the start of the season with a hamstring injury, but he appears ready to step in and he could be a huge addition to the offense. Beckham was an electric player in college and Pro Football Talk reports that he has been with the team in meetings all season and is not behind on his preparation. The offense has finally been clicking and some have worried that Beckham could mess with the chemistry, but so far Eli Manning has been excellent in the past two weeks and adding a weapon like Beckham should not disrupt anything.

Manning was on fire last week and over the past two games he has completed over 70 percent of his passes. Manning had four TDs and one BS interception against the Redskins and he is looking to build on that against the Falcons at home. The Giants have a tough stretch with a home game against the Falcons and then two road divisional games with Philadelphia and Dallas and adding Beckham to the mix should only help that.

Cruz and Randle looked good last week and Donnell broke out big, catching three touchdown passes from Eli Manning. Donnell could be a huge weapon for the team going forward, as he is a huge target with athletic ability and he has been one of the best tight ends in the league this season through four weeks. The Giants offense is rolling and they have Rashad Jennings and Andre Williams running well and that has been huge for the Giants.

According to ESPN.com, Beckham is close to getting back to full strength and this comes after his missed basically all of training camp and offseason work with his hamstring injury. The Giants are hopeful that Beckham won't be hobbled again this season and he could be a string sleeper option in deeper leagues and 12 team leagues. Beckham may eventually also return some kicks and that could add some value to him in fantasy leagues as well. Beckham has a huge upside and could be a massive sleeper moving forward.

Beckham was strong in college and he had 57 catches last season for 1117 yards and eight touchdowns and he also was a strong punt returner in college. Beckham has great speed and the Giants are hoping that their first round pick can be a major contributor this season. The Giants have started 2-2 and they are heading into a brutal stretch of the schedule, but they are set up well to hang tight with the way the offense is playing. Coming out of the bye the team has the Colts, Seahawks and 49ers and that will be a major stretch and could decide where the team ends up this season.
