NBA Trade Rumors: Dwight Howard Talks End, Orlando Magic GM Says

This is either a temporary halt or a complete end to Dwight Howard trade talks.

General Manager Rob Henningan said he could not find a proper deal that would have satisfied the needs of the Orlando Magic.

According to Jarrod Rudolph of RealGM.com, the Magic will now focus on trying to find the team a head coach.

This means that the Los Angeles Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks will have to settle with the big men that they have.

Well, at least the Lakers and the Nets can settle for the centers they have in their rosters.

The Nets have Brook Lopez, who is currently working out a deal that will allow him to play in Brooklyn for the next couple of years and the Lakers have All-Star Andrew Bynum.

It is not clear when teams will be allowed to talk to Howard, if indeed they remain interested in the Magic's center.

Despite Howard wanting to move, the Magic say they would love to have him back in 2013 according to Brian Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel.

Right now, the Howard drama comes to a brief end, even though a few reporters believe it is just a bluff.

The magic will begin searching for a head coach that can guide the team back to the playoffs. Current candidates are Lindsey Hunter, Briand Shaw and Jeff Hornacek.

It has been recently said that Magic's GM has left the door open to other teams, but deal with the Nets is most likely dead.
