The Montreal Canadiens and Chicago Blackhawks are playing live on the NHL preseason schedule from the United Center on Wednesday night and the game starts up at 8:30 pm ET as the Hawks host the Original Six matchup and it comes after the team lost in the west finals to the Kings and they will be looking to get back to the Cup.

The Blackhawks come into the game after a shutout win against the Oilers and they next play against the Rangers in another Original Six matchup. The team was one of the best on offense last year and they ranked second in goals per game and they will be looking to do the same this season. Montreal comes into the game after a loss against the Capitals and they next will play against the Ottawa Senators in a Canada matchup.
