Tim Tebow Rumors: ESPN Analyst Gets Radio Show In Jacksonville

Tim Tebow has been off to a great start on ESPN with the SEC Network and now the analyst is getting his own job down in Jacksonville hosting a radio segment where he will interact with listeners, talk football and interview sports figures about the weekly news in Florida and around the SEC and football overall.

According to CBS News in Jacksonville, Tebow will host "Tuesday's with Tim" on 1010XL and the segment will feature him with Dan Hicken and Jeff Prosser talking SEC football and college football around the country. Tebow has been looking good on TV with ESPN and while he has said numerous times that he wants to continue his NFL career, he appears content with working as an analyst.

Tebow has been getting very solid reviews for his work and he appears to be a natural on television and talking about games in the SEC. Tebow of course was a Heisman winning quarterback at Florida and he also won a national championship as the starter when he led the team to a 13-1 record. Tebow put up some amazing numbers in college and after being drafted by the Denver Broncos his NFL career took some interesting turns and he ended up in NY and then out of the league all together.

Over the years Tebow has been mentioned in numerous stores and Tebow has been linked to a number of women in his career, including actress Camilla Belle as well as Erin Drewes and Lucy Pinder and now other reports have come out that he is dating a model, but once again, it looks like they are just rumors. Tebow is a high profile figure and his Christian faith has put him front and center and while there have been more rumors about him, Tebow said in his GMA appearance that he is happy with where he is in his career right now.

Tebow won the Heisman trophy and his numbers in college were simply amazing, as he put up 88 touchdowns through the air and nearly 60 on the ground in his four years playing. Tebow was not the pocket passer that someone like Andrew Luck was, but he still put up some great stats and over his final season he completed over 70 percent of his passes. Tebow had a 66 percent clip in two of his first three seasons and his rushing stats were great as well, including in 2007 when he had over 20 touchdowns.

Tebow ended up getting traded to the Jets from the Broncos and Rex Ryan and company had no idea what to do with him and basically screwed him over. The team held onto him through the draft and then cut him afterwards, which allowed all the other teams in the league to get their backups and practice squads set. While Tebow may not have stuck around (like what happened in NE after getting cut) he at least would have had a chance, but the Jets, like they usually do, screwed him on the way out (ie: Mark Sanchez too).
