The NBA season came to an end less than a month ago and now we have the pleasure of watching the United States' best ballers compete in exhibition games before making it to the London 2012 Olympics.
On Thursday, Team USA showed they are going to be tough on international competition as they destroyed the Dominican Republic in a 113-59 routing.
Kevin Durant came out to play, outscoring the Dominican starters with 24 points going 5-6 from three.
This matchup was the first of five exhibition matches the US team will play.
Exhibition Game 1 took place in Las Vegas on Thursday. They will then play on Monday in Washington D.C. before leaving for practice and games in Europe.

In between the exhibition the US basketball team will have practices.
They start their journey to gold on July 29th against France.
