The Tennessee Volunteers and Ole Miss Rebels are playing on the SEC college football schedule on Saturday and the matchup is from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and starts up at 7 pm ET on ESPN on TV and the game is on WatchESPN online and has the number three team hosting ahead of their matchup with Alabama.
Ole Miss comes into the game against Tennessee after winning over Texas A&M and that was a big win for the team and now they are positioned to make a deep run into the playoff. The team is now 6-0 on the year and they are 3-0 in the SEC this year and they have a matchup on the road next against LSU. The Rebels have the second ranked defense in the nation by points allowed and while they gave up a huge amount of yards to Kenny Hill, they were able to get things going.
The Rebels are ranked 31 in the nation in scoring offense and they are on a six game winning streak and this is the toughest stretch of the season. Ole Miss won against Alabama and they were ranked number three and now they have the Volunteers at home before a matchup on the road against Louisiana State. The team is going up against number six Auburn and then the back stretch of the season will decide things, as Arkansas and Mississippi are the final game and they are ranked number one in the nation now.
The Volunteers snapped a three game losing streak with a win against Chattanooga and now they have a very tough stretch with Ole Miss and Alabama back to back. The team has already lost to Oklahoma and Georgia this season and they have South Carolina, Missouri and Vanderbilt down the backstretch of the season. The Vols are now 0-2 in the SEC and they are looking for a major upset against Ole Miss.
