The Rutgers Scarlet Knights and Nebraska Cornhuskers are playing live on the Big Ten college football schedule on Saturday and the game from Memorial Stadium in Lincoln and the TV coverage is on ESPN2 and streaming online from the WatchESPN website at 12 pm noon ET as the number 16 team in the country tries to bolster their credentials heading into the back stretch of the season.
Nebraska comes into the game after a win against Northwestern and they have played very well this season and they got 146 yards on the ground from Ameer Abdullah, who is having a great season. The team is ranked in the top 25 and they have Purdue next on the schedule and that comes ahead of a game against Wisconsin, which will be a huge conference game. The team is 2-1 after losing to Michigan State and they are still alive in the Big 12 and for the playoff if they can keep winning.
The team has been one of the best rushing teams in the nation and they have nearly 300 yards on the ground per game. Abdullah has over 1000 yards and 14 TDs this season and the defense has also been playing well. The team is allowing just under 20 points per game and they started the season 5-0 and now are looking to run the table. The team has Wisconsin and then Minnesota and the final game will be against Iowa.
