The fantasy football Week 8 schedule ends Monday night and some start or sit picks for the game between the Cowboys and the Redskins have names like DeMarco Murray, Alfred Morris, Tony Romo, DeSean Jackson, Dez Bryant, Jordan Reed, Terrance Williams, Jason Witten and Gavin Escobar as well as Colt McCoy and those players are ones to watch on MNF on ESPN.
Murray is having an amazing season and he is obviously a START option for this game and the redskins have been terrible against the run this season. Murray has been healthy all year for the first time and he has over 900 yards this season and seven touchdowns in as many games and he is on pace for over 2000 yards. Murray has never played in all 16 games and last season was his first 1000 yard season and now he will likely get past that in this game if averages hold for him.
Alfred Morris has been very frustrating for fantasy owners and if he doesn't have a big game here, they might as well give up on him. He is a SIT for this game because of that. But for desperate owners in need of final points, START him over Roy Helu and see if he actually shows up and doesn't play terrible like he has all season. This year Morris has 440 yards and is averaging under four yards per carry and he only has three TDs and is comes after he has scored 20 in the past two seasons.
Dez Bryant is probable and he is a strong START option after the big game he had last week against the Giants and he has been one of the best WRs in the league. This season he has 45 catches for 590 yards and he has four scores on the season and he has the chance to put up big numbers against a terrible secondary. Bryant will be the main target for Romo in this matchup and he went over 100 yards last week and could do it again this week.
DeSean Jackson comes into the game as probable and he is worth STARTING as long as he is healthy and he could have a big game against the Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys are one of the best teams in the NFL this season and on Monday night, DeMarco Murray and Tony Romo are the best start options for fantasy football owners along with Terrance Williams, Jason Witten, Dez Bryant and Gavin Escobar, as the Redskins defense has not been great this season and in Week 8 those names have the chance to put up some points.
Murray has been the best player in the NFL and fantasy football this season and it's obvious that he is the best starter option for the team. The Redskins have been getting gashed and with Colt McCoy at quarterback, the team should have plenty of opportunities to get the ball. Romo has great weapons in Williams and Bryant on the outside and Witten once again has been great. Escobar is worth a look for fantasy owners in need of a TE, as he had two touchdowns last week and could bring that momentum into this game.
