Washington Redskins Rumors: DeAngelo Hall Tears Achilles Again As Terrell Thomas, Jabari Greer Free Agent Options With CB Out 2014 Season?

The Washington Redskins lost cornerback DeAngelo Hall to a torn Achilles earlier in the season and after tearing it again, he will need surgery to repair the injury and he is on track to miss the rest of the season and the team may look at free agent options on the market like Terrell Thomas or Jabari Greer to replace him over players on the practice squad.

According to ESPN.com, Hall injured his Achilles for the second time after previously tearing it back in September and while surgery will keep him out for a while, he is expected to be ready for training camp next summer. ESPN writes that it will be tougher for Hall to recover because it's a second surgery, but that other players have recovered from that injury and have had success.

The Redskins may not jump to the free agent market yet, as rookie cornerback Bashaud Breeland has played well in place of Hall. This season he has 26 tackles and last week he was a monster in keeping Dez Bryant at bay at the end of the Monday night game last week. Hall is signed to a decent contract with a $4.8 million cap hit next season and that could make for a very tough decision for the Redskins.

This season the team is 3-5 and they are coming in after a two game winning streak after losing four straight games.
