The Chicago Blackhawks and Montreal Canadiens are playing live on the NHL schedule on Tuesday night and the game from the Bell Centre starts up past 7:30 pm ET and has the Original Six teams facing off in an east west game and comes as the Habs are playing some great hockey to start up the 2014-15 slate.
The Blackhawks come into the game after a loss against the Jets and that was a 1-0 defeat and now they play against the Canadiens on the road before a game against the Caps. The team comes in ranked 25th in goals per game and they are also fifth in goals against this season and third in penalty kill percentage early in the season. The Blackhawks are currently fourth in the central division and they have been up and down over the first couple weeks and they are 6-5-1 on the year.
The Canadiens come into the game after a loss against the Calgary Flames and they will play against the Sabres next on the schedule. The team is seventh in penalty kill percentage this season and they are first in the Atlantic division with a 8-3-1 record and they have 17 points on the season.
