The NY Jets have a tough Week 10 game with the Steelers and fantasy football owners should look to start Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory in the game at RB, as they should get plenty of action on Sunday, while Eric Decker, Percy Harvin and Jeremy Kerley are the best offensive options for Michael Vick, as he will once again get the start for Geno Smith.
The Jets have now lost eight games in a row and they have a tough test against the Steelers, as Ben Roethlisberger has tossed 12 TDs in the past two games. The Jets secondary has been a mess all season and that could spell disaster on Sunday and there are also reports that Steelers fans will be out in full force at the game. Mike Vick will start again and while he wasn't terrible last week, the team did not do enough to win and now they are looking for a better overall performance on both sides of the ball.
Vick did not turn the ball over and that was big for the Jets and they need everyone around Vick to step up. The team has been successful rushing the ball, but that has been really the only thing they have done well. Ivory and Johnson have done enough for fantasy owners and if they can get something going against the Steelers, it will greatly help Vick in the offense. The team is expecting a big game from Percy Harvin after they tried to force him the ball last week, while Eric Decker also is looking to breakout.
Those two receivers along with the tight ends need to be more involved and Vick should have a solid safety net with Jace Amaro and Jeff Cumberland. Getting some yardage out of Ivory and Johnson will help and if Harvin can break one off, there is chance the Jets put an end to this slide. The fans have not been happy and after another loss on the road, the team returns home and it will be hostile. Jets fans are upset and some bought a banner that read 'Fire John Idzik' and the MetLife crowd likely will not be forgiving. Add in some Steelers fans with Terrible Towels and this could end up being a terrible atmosphere for the Jets.
Johnson has 337 yards on the season and he had a very solid game last time out and could be worth a look for fantasy owners in need of an RB. Ivory only had 22 yards in the game against the Chiefs and now it looks like Johnson is finally coming into form. Harvin has been a disappointment with the Jets and while that's not all on him, the team is expecting some big plays this weekend.
