NY Giants Rumors: Rashad Jennings Returns Week 11 As Odell Beckham Best Fantasy Football Start Option For Eli Manning

The NY Giants are struggling and with the 49ers coming in on Sunday, the team is thrilled to have Rashad Jennings back from injury for Week 11 and fantasy football owners should look to start him along with Odell Beckham, as those players should step up big for Eli Manning for the 1 pm ET Sunday kickoff at MetLife Stadium against San Francisco.

The Giants have not been consistent this season, but Beckham has been great since making his debut in the middle of the year after being injured and he looks like a star in the making. Dan Graziano at ESPN.com and Mike Freeman at Bleacher Report have both written about Beckham the last few weeks and they have marveled at his talent and speed. Wide receiver can often be a tough transition from college to the pros, but Beckham has made it look easy and now he is the top target for Eli Manning with Victor Cruz out for the season.

Beckham has been on fire in the past two weeks and he is leading the NFL over that span with 264 yards and that is the most in back to back games for a Giants WR in years. Beckham has 15 catches in that time and even more impressive was that the second game was against the Seattle Seahawks and Richard Sherman. Beckham was matched up with Sherman multiple times and ended up catching seven of the nine passes thrown to him overall in the game.

Even more impressive was the fact that Beckham was four for six on Sherman and one of them was a fantastic 40-yard reception. Beckham got open after a brilliant double move on Sherman and after the game even the usually cocky Sherman had some kind words for the young receiver, calling him the "real deal". Amazingly Beckham's four catches for 66 yards on Sherman was the first time since 2012 that a receiver beat him that many times, with Titus Young making five catches that Week 8 in 2012.

Beckham missed the first four games of the season with hamstring injuries and he has been fantastic since coming in, as he has been targeted nearly nine times per game since starting. According to Bleacher Report, Beckham has made catches on over 70 percent of the balls thrown to him and that puts him in the tip rate of the NFL. Beckham is a star in the making and he is one of the lone bright spots for the Giants this season.

Getting back Jennings will be huge for the Giants even if he is limited in this game, as he gives the team a more consistent option than rookie Andre Williams. Williams has been solid in place of Jennings, but he is more of a complimentary back right now and while he could develop into a better rusher down the line, he is still a rookie with only a half seasons worth of experience. Jennings was having a strong season before getting injured and now he will try and help salvage the rest of the 2014 schedule for the G-men, who may be playing to save Tom Coughlin's job.
