The Michigan Wolverines and Detroit are playing live on the NCAA men's college basketball schedule on Thursday and the game is on the Big Ten Network for the Progressive Legends Classic and the matchup is from the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor and starts up past 6 pm ET and has the number 24 team in the nation hosting the matchup.
The Wolverines come into the game after a win over Bucknell and they now have Detroit before a matchup with Oregon next. The team is 2-0 on the season and they have won both at home and now they have another chance to get things going. The team has a tough matchup coming later next month against Syracuse and they also have matchups with SMU and Arizona down on the schedule.
Arizona is currently ranked at number two in the nation and later in the season Michigan will have the Big Ten schedule picking up. This season the Big Ten should be a very solid conference and they have a top three team right now in Wisconsin. Michigan also will have to deal with Nebraska, Michigan State and Ohio State as teams that are currently ranked and they could be major players in the tournament this year.
Michigan has some easy games coming ahead of the Syracuse matchup and later they will play against Illinois to open the conference schedule. Michigan has Ohio State and Michigan State back to back and earlier in the season they have a stretch of three ranked teams in a row. The Wolverines play against Wisconsin before matchups with Nebraska and Michigan State and that will be a tough schedule to navigate.
