Olympics 2012 Telemundo Spanish Coverage and Broadcast: Check Local Listings for London Action En Español

You better believe the Olympics are an international sporting event. With all the countries having at least a female representative in London, Spanish speakers will have a chance to enjoy some of the Olympic action in Spanish thanks to Telemundo, a sister station of NBC. 

Check local listings to find out what channel Telemundo is in your area. 

Puerto Rico will have 25 representatives in the Olympics and the Dominican Republic, who is widely known for baseball as the national sport, will have 35 Olympians participating in London.

This is the Olympic output from each of the following Spanish speaking countries; Argentina 142, Bolivia 6, Chile 35, Colombia 109, Costa Rica 11, Cuba 111, Ecuador 36, El Salvador 10, Guatemala 19, Honduras 31, Nicaragua 6, Mexico 106, Panama 8, Paraguay 8, Peru 16, Spain 295, Uruguay 33, Venezuela 69.

Telemundo will begin their coverage of the 2012 London Olympics at 8 a.m. ET. on Saturday. The coverage will continue until 5 p.m.

That is nine hours of coverage in Spanish.

In this time Telemundo will cover boxing, beach volleyball, volleyball and swimming. 

Sunday, the action will continue on Telemundo beginning at 12 a.m. when they will review the occurrences that took place during previous day. Then from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. they will pick up live coverage of the 2012 London Olympics,
